MAY 8, 2025:
In collaboration with Medford's EAAC/Green Team, Freedom Barks, Inc. has signed up to take on the NexTrex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge for a 4th time! If we collect 1,000 pounds of traditionally non-recyclable plastic film within 12 months, then we will receive our 4th free TREX bench.
As of July 2nd, we have
316 pounds to go!

Questions about what will be accepted? Check out NexTrex's frequently asked questions!
Still unsure if an item will be accepted? TREX recommends trying this test: See if the package will stretch when you pull it. If yes, it can be included. If it tears like paper, then please don’t turn it in.

The volunteers of Freedom Barks, Inc. are happy to announce the bridge on Roxy Trail has been rebuilt!
A huge thank you goes to the following volunteers who worked together over the course of 5 hours to complete this improvement to Freedom Barks Dog Park: Brian from Repair & Replace, LLC, Jim, Rob, Mark, Andy, and Trevor.

We also want to recognize and thank Brian from Repair & Replace, LLC for leading this project and cutting the deck boards to size ahead of time. Another thank you goes to the Public Works Department for supplying us with a dumpster to dispose of the old lumber.
This volunteer project was fully funded by contributions made to Freedom Barks, Inc. and proudly built by volunteers. We would like to give a shout out to everyone who has donated, purchased merchandise, and attended events. Your support allows Freedom Barks, Inc. to afford these improvements for park patrons to enjoy for years to come.
