About Freedom Barks, Inc.

Freedom Barks, Inc. is a small volunteer led nonprofit that assists Medford Township in maintaining a clean, safe, and fun environment for all to enjoy at Freedom Barks Dog Park.

We are a committee of dog park patrons who volunteer their time to maintain the dog park grounds and amenities i.e. walking trails, bridges, benches, agility equipment, dog waste removal and litter pick-up. Our volunteers also help connect the township with its dog park patrons by using various forms of communication and social media.

Our committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm. Meetings are held at Cranberry Hall, 88 Charles Street, Medford. *Due to COVID19 meetings are currently being held via conference call*

Freedom Barks, Inc. is especially thankful to have the support of many of the local boy and girl scout troops in the area, as they have volunteered their services to both maintain and enhance Freedom Barks Dog Park. Several Boy Scout Eagle and Girl Scout Silver and Gold Projects have been completed in the park. This partnership provides an opportunity for these scouts to grow in the scouting experience and to enhance the park for its patrons, dogs, and people alike!
